NewayLabs allows you to generate a testing environment in just a few clicks

“Our sales staff needed a dynamic test environment in which to demonstrate our products; that environment had to handle the newest versions of Microsoft products, allow for quick deployment, and be as simple as a few clicks away” says Lior Gal, Director of Information Technology at Varonis Systems, a leading provider of software solutions that protect data from insider threats and cyberattacks.

“We provided NeWay with our prioritized needs; establishing a document that articulated the product’s requirements and characteristics”, Gal added.

To address these needs, Neway Technologies developed NeWayLabs, an innovative Azure-based lab building tool.

NeWayLabs allows you to generate a testing environment in just a few clicks while providing the granularity of selecting the number of machines, operating systems, processing power, networking capabilities, and security configuration.

The development and research was led by Adam Zak, a developer at NeWay. Through research, Adam overcame numerous challenges, such as validating the feasibility of establishing a connection between cloud-based servers and on-premises servers, and the need for an agile build-up process. In Adam’s mind, working with Azure was the logical choice since Azure encompasses all the required components for the development of the tool.

NeWay plans to transform NeWayLabs into a web-based tool which will allow any customer to perform his or her own customization with a few clicks and mouse movements. This will enable the customer to create an environment that meets his or her needs; whether deploying SQL servers, duplicating existing servers, or another desired specification.
